Therapy for Trauma

I provide therapy for trauma to women who are struggling to heal, embrace themselves, and live life fully. I understand, and I’m here to guide you through this process.

You may:

  • have trouble trusting yourself and others

  • feel unsure about how to make supportive changes in life

  • feel like you have minimal control over how you respond to triggers

  • speak negatively about yourself often

I can help you understand symptoms, understand how trauma manifests in our lives, while also showing you how to genuinely improve how you perceive yourself and your ability to heal from past experiences.

Women I support with trauma have typically also struggled with, or have been diagnosed with, anxiety and depressive disorders. Others have a received a diagnosis of PTSD or CPTSD, but haven’t been given information or support to help them cope and heal. Women I work with have usually developed trauma from childhood neglect and abuse, sexual assault, unhealthy relationships, and exposure to traumatic events.

If you’re ready to accept yourself and prioritize your own healing and personal growth, schedule a complimentary consultation with me today.

My approach to trauma therapy

Healing from trauma is a unique journey for each individual as it is influenced by a combination of personal experiences.

Trauma disrupts many, if not all, areas of our life. Negative beliefs, skewed self-perceptions, and believing you have a lack of control over your thoughts, feelings, and reactions can be truly exhausting and confusing.

You may find yourself questioning your experiences and the validity of your emotions or reactions.

Within therapy, we can work together to identify and challenge negative thought patterns, increase self-regulation, and ultimately foster a sense of purpose and belonging. I can help you understand the impact trauma has on every individual’s mind and body; encouraging you to see that you are not the issue.
