Therapy for Teens

I provide therapy for teens to girls who want to feel confident and learn how to cope with their mental health. I understand, and I’m here to guide you through this process.

You may:

  • have trouble expressing yourself

  • think negatively about yourself

  • feel like you don’t fit in

  • struggle within friendships or family relationships

  • feel confused about new mental health concerns

  • wonder if something is wrong with you

I can help you identify and understand what mental health concerns you’re noticing, learn how to cope (and become more confident doing it), build on other skills such as communication, and give you space to express yourself openly.

Teens I work with may not have a mental health diagnosis prior to seeing me. I can provide educational information, and additional resources when needed. Teens who have been diagnosed typically receive a diagnosis related to anxiety and depressive disorders.

If you’re ready to feel confident in yourself and your ability to cope with your mental health, schedule a complimentary consultation with me today.

My approach to therapy with teens

Being a teenager is hard! This is usually a time where you’re figuring out who you are, and who you want to be. You may have a lot of responsibilities, while also not having much independence. Confusing, right?

On top of that, this is a time where you may also begin to experience new concerns related to mental health. Whether you’re familiar with mental health struggles or not, your personal struggles can still feel exhausting, isolating, and confusing.

Through therapy, I can help you build an understanding of mental health in general and what seems specific to you. I can provide you with knowledge on how to cope and reduce the intensity of feelings and other symptoms. We can work on improving your self-image, and feeling positive about your abilities.

I’m interested in getting to know you as a person, and encouraging you to feel confident in yourself. You’ll always have the space to express yourself freely and openly.
